Incubation
Ideas start in-house. We take the ones we would use ourselves, cut them down to a testable core, and put a working version in front of real people before deciding whether they deserve a second year.
VibeX LLC · United States
VibeX LLC starts, builds and runs its own products. Each venture keeps its own name and its own users; together they share one engineering base, one operating spine and one idea of what software should feel like.
The company
VibeX is not an agency and takes no outside briefs. It is the roof over a small portfolio of AI products — the place where they are conceived, funded, engineered and kept running. What the roof provides is deliberately narrow and deliberately shared.
Ideas start in-house. We take the ones we would use ourselves, cut them down to a testable core, and put a working version in front of real people before deciding whether they deserve a second year.
Model access, evaluation harnesses, pipelines, deployment and observability are solved once and reused across the portfolio. A new venture inherits the parts that are already boring, and spends its attention on the part that is not.
One legal entity, one set of books, one way of handling contracts, payments and app-store relationships. Founders inside VibeX get to think about their product instead of about paperwork.
Positioning, distribution and the unglamorous mechanics of reaching an English-speaking audience — landing the product in the United States and the markets next to it, rather than leaving it as a demo.
Mission
The interesting part of this moment is not that a machine can write code. It is that a person and a machine can now build something that neither would have built alone. We want to spend our working life on that, and to leave behind things that are open enough for other people to build on.
We work with AI the way a craftsman works with a good tool: constantly, closely, and without pretending the tool has taken over. Judgement, taste and responsibility stay with the people.
Software should give a person more reach, not less agency. We build things that make their user more capable at the end of the session than they were at the start.
Where we can publish the tool rather than keep it, we publish it. Shared instruments make everyone's work better, including ours, and they outlive the company that wrote them.
How a thing feels is not decoration. We care about the seams — the wording, the timing, the moment something loads — because that is where a product either respects its user or quietly does not.
Ventures
Four efforts at different stages. Some have users, some are still being shaped, and one is given away on purpose.
Conversational advertising for mid-tier publishers. Instead of a banner, the reader gets a conversation that recommends products in the language of the page they are already reading. Built for English-language publishers in the US, UK and Australia, where retail media has outgrown the display unit.
Consumer AI video. Kisscam turns still photographs into short generated clips, through an iOS app and a chat interface that asks for nothing more than a picture and an idea. It is in the hands of real users and still early enough to change its mind.
A companion for practising English rather than studying it. Bob holds a conversation, keeps a schedule of sessions and remembers the words a particular learner keeps reaching for. In market, growing by what its learners actually come back for.
Two developer tools we needed ourselves and then gave away. Postbox passes context asynchronously between AI coding agents, so one agent can hand work to another without a human in the middle. Image-to-Code converts a mockup or a screenshot into clean HTML and CSS, pixel by pixel.
How we operate
Every venture here began as something that irritated us personally. That is a weaker signal than a market study and a much better one than a trend deck.
A tiny team, a working build early, and the parts that are generally useful published as open source rather than hoarded.
Model access, evaluation, deployment and the legal and financial spine are the company's job. A venture should only have to invent its own product.
Products under VibeX carry their own name and their own voice. The umbrella is there to hold the weather off, not to make everything look the same.
